University of Minho – Host Institution for SERVSIG 2026
The University of Minho is proud to serve as the host institution for the 14th SERVSIG Conference in 2026, welcoming the international service research community to the historic and vibrant region of Northern Portugal.
As one of Portugal’s most prestigious and internationally recognized universities, University of Minho provides the perfect academic setting for advancing service research and fostering global collaboration.

The University of Minho (UMinho) was founded in 1973 and is among the most vibrant and international Portuguese higher education institutions.
This year the University celebrates its 52 years. The University has 11 Schools and 1 Research Institute offering a wide range of Education and Research Programmes at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. Currently, there are 21.000 students, 2400 of which are international students.
The University has 1747 teaching staff and 1900 PhD students. UM has created 48 spin-offs. The University is based in the cities of Braga and Guimarães and has three campi: the Gualtar Campus in Braga, the Azurém and Couro Campuses in Guimarães.
SERVSIG will be held in the Gualtar Campus in Braga.
