Cláudia Simões

Cláudia Simões is a Professor of Management at the School of Economics, Management and Political Science at the University of Minho in Portugal.

Her academic background is in management, in particular in the area of Marketing and Strategy. Previously she was Dean of the School of Economics and Management and is a founding member and current Director of the Center for Research in Business, Markets & Society.

Cláudia cooperated with the Open University/UK and held visiting positions at Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles, USA); Henley Business School, University of Reading (UK); Faculty of Business and Economics, University of Melbourne (Australia); Scheller College of Management, Georgia Institute of Technology (USA); Warwick University (UK); Open University (UK).

Cristiana Lages

Cristiana Lages is an Associate Professor with Habilitation at the School of Economics, Management and Political Science at the University of Minho in Portugal.

During her career in the UK, Cristiana was Senior Research Manager at Elsevier (Oxford), Associate Professor at Henley Business School, University of Reading, as well as Senior Lecturer in the faculty of Loughborough University School of Business and Economics and a Lecturer at Leeds University Business School.

Cristiana held visiting positions at Boston College (USA), University of Cambridge (UK), Hanken School of Economics (Finland), National University of Singapore, University of Nottingham (Ningbo, China), Surrey Business School (UK), Istanbul Technical University (Turkey), NOVA School of Business and Economics (Portugal), among others.

Cláudia Simões

Cláudia Simões is a Professor of Management at the School of Economics, Management and Political Science, University of Minho, Portugal, leading the Marketing & Strategy area. She holds a PhD in Industrial and Business Studies from the University of Warwick (UK).

Formerly the Dean of the School, she currently directs the PhD Programme in Marketing & Strategy. Her international experience includes visiting positions at Loyola Marymount University (USA), Henley Business School (UK), University of Melbourne (Australia), Georgia Institute of Technology (USA), Warwick University (UK), and Open University (UK).

Her research and publications focus on strategic marketing, corporate marketing (identity, image, brand, reputation), service management, and customer experience, featuring in prestigious journals such as Journal of Marketing, Journal of Business Research, and European Journal of Marketing.

Cláudia serves as Associate Editor for the European Journal of Marketing and International Journal of Consumer Studies and sits on the editorial boards of Journal of Services Marketing and Journal of Marketing Communications.

Her work has earned accolades, including the Shelby D. Hunt/Harold H. Maynard Award (2020) and best paper awards from AMA ServSig and Academy of Marketing.

She supervises doctoral and master students extensively and collaborates with institutions like InvestBraga and Bracara Augusta Foundation.

Cristiana Lages

Cristiana R. Lages is Associate Professor with Habilitation at the at the School of Economics, Management and Political Science, University of Minho. Previously, she was the Associate Director of the Service Management Lab and a researcher financed by Foundation for Science and Technology (Portugal) at CEGE, Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Portugal.

During her carrer in the UK, Cristiana was Senior Research Manager at Elsevier (Oxford), Associate Professor at Henley Business School, University of Reading as well as Senior Lecturer in the faculty of Loughborough University School of Business and Economics and a Lecturer at Leeds University Business School.

Cristiana held visiting positions at Boston College (USA), University of Cambridge (UK), Hanken School of Economics (Finland), National University of Singapore, University of Nottingham (Ningbo, China), Surrey Business School (UK), Istanbul Technical University (Turkey), NOVA School of Business and Economics (Portugal), among others. She holds a PhD from the University of Warwick, UK.

Cristiana has published papers in prestigious international journals, such as the Journal of Service Research, Journal of Business Research, Journal of International Marketing, European Journal of Marketing, Tourism Management, Social Science & Medicine, Psychology & Marketing,  International Marketing Review, International Journal of Human Resource Management, reaching over 2200 citations. Cristiana comprises the Editorial Advisory Board for the Journal of Service Management.
